CAPTION WRITING REVIEW
James Whitmore takes a midday bicycle ride though London's Eastside neighborhood. He would later regret not wearing pants as the conditions got colder.

MY FAVORITE COVER
Harper's Bazaar, March 2012: "Gwyneth Revealed"
- See more at: http://www.magazine.org/asme/magazine-cover-contest/past-winners-finalists/2013-winners-finalists#Business and Technology
This is my favorite cover because I like the simplicity of the background which allows the subject to really pop, especially with their use of black and white which gave it more depth. I also like that you can't see her face which kinda adds mystery almost in a way. I like that its not a boring position, she's like standing tall but looking away from the camera and letting her hair cover her. The outfit she has on is also interesting and grabs the eyes attention, its a unique dress and it goes well with the whiteness it goes against. This picture communicates this style thats revealing, new, fresh and kindve courageous, but with her head turned it does the opposite adding more layers to the picture because she's kindve communicating this hidden almost shy expression and is turning away. So it kindve communicates this boldness of the style while also staying almost timid and hidden away.
